SEPTEMBER LIGHT!!1! ~*

This is my picture for the September Light Assignment.

When taking this picture, I tried to achieve long dramatic shadows with a glow coming from the sun behind the subject. Taking pictures between 5-6 provided me with the proper lighting.

1) Fixed levels

2) Adjusted colour balance

3) Adjusted contrast

4) Cropped picture to cut out extra background

5) Selected image with magic wand

6) Switched into quick mask mode

7) Erased mask from subject

8) Inversed Selection

9) Blurred background
